About The Hotel:
The Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff, West Cork dates back to 1645. Although extensive renovation work has been carried out, the hotel retained the unique character that attracted visits from George Bernard Shaw, W.B. Yates, the Bronte sisters, and more recently Maureen O'Hara of 'The Quiet Man' fame and who is a resident of Glengarriff. Drew Barrymore stayed at the Eccles on her honeymoon last year.
