Launched in 1973, the Grand Pavois is a major event of the marine industry. As one of the biggest international on water boat shows, it sheds light on the production’s true qualities to exportation and importation, and constantly proves the richness, cleverness and multiplicity of the shipyards that are still chosing the GRAND PAVOIS as the Autumn “rendez-vous.
The show attracts 104,000 visitors, from the complete novice to the seasoned professional, with over 800 exhibitors representing 35 nations.
Cork County is delighted and honoured to represent Ireland as the Guest Country of Honour for the 2008 edition of this exceptional world renowned in-water boat show that is the Grand Pavois. Cork County is particularly well placed for this nomination thanks to its strong coastal/nautical synergies with La Rochelle.
